What You Can Expect:

Under limited supervision, the Revenue Cycle Analyst, is responsible for data extraction, analysis and monitoring of revenue cycle tools that support the processes and impacts the healthcare revenue cycle.

  • Supports the System Revenue Cycle team in financial analysis and operations improvement.
  • Collects, organizes, analyzes and presents data for purposes of evaluation and decision making.
  • Researches a variety of complex and/or regulatory issues impacting revenue cycle and recommends processes to enhance financial and quality performance.
  • Assists and directs the development, automation, maintenance and reporting of key indicators and metrics.
  • Knowledge of work flows, data mapping between internal and external departments and systems. Assists with file transfer and reconciliation execution.
  • Assists in the development, project management and implementation of process enhancements or the organizations initiatives designed to enhance revenue cycle.
  • Identifies gaps and collaborates with appropriate internal and external groups to remediate.
  • May be responsible for management of multiple and varied work streams internally and externally.
  • Makes recommendations to leadership on revenue cycle operations and processes.
  • Provides expert advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of revenue cycle activity.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 5 year's experience.
