What You Can Expect:

  • Dayshift 7am-3:30pm
  • The Industrial Controls Technician, under limited supervision,is responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of automation and controls systems.

    • Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components.

    • Interpret system sequences and specifications and write program logic.

    • Analyzes and interprets data from solid-state motor drives and controllers scope meters and other troubleshooting equipment.

    • Adjusts, calibrates and aligns circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.

    • Assists with strategic planning to ensure the system is upgraded and/or replaced as needed.

    • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.

    • Handles moderately complex issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

    • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

       

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree or 2 years additional related experience in lieu of Associates degree
  • Experience: 4 years related experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License

     

Highly Preferred experience: Hvac background, building automation install and programing
