St. Luke’s is looking for a Registered Nurse to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. The Nampa team is hiring for a full time RN for the Pre Admission Testing Team.

Schedule: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) 4 (9) hour shifts (0830-1800) Monday-Friday, with either Tuesday or Thursday off each week to achieve positive work life effectiveness/balance. No weekends, call and or holidays.
What you can expect:
The goal of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) is to optimize patients receiving anesthesia prior to the day of surgery. Registered Nurses call patients via telephone, or see patients in our outpatient clinic while collaborating with the patient’s provider and anesthesiologist based on patient assessment and evaluation to prevent day of surgery cancellations. More specifically, registered nurses’ initiate the patient’s health history, assess the patient’s health history, evaluate the patient’s medication history, teach and prepare patients for planned procedure, and will initiate appropriate diagnostic testing (Labs, X-ray, EKGs) based on provider orders and anesthesia guidelines.
