What You Can Expect:

  • Lead Cook for 25 patient bed facility
  • Typical schedule Sunday – Thursday. Start time would vary between 8-11 for 8 hour. However, schedule will be adjusted to cover shifts for vacations/short staffed/business needs
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Oversight of food production for patients, café and caterings
    • Menu creation
    • Product ordering
    • Inventory
    • Assisting cooks during busy times
    • Attending and implementation of items form the weekly culinary call
    • Assisting with manager duties when manager is out
    • Being the first point of contact during your shift
    • Train in all positions to be able to help with coverage
    • Fill in for breaks
    • Be familiar with Healthtouch

 

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevent experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must have one of the following licenses or certifications: Experior Food Safety Certification, National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Certification (NRFSP), Food Handlers Certification, Certified Foodservice Professional Program (CFPP), Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), ServSafe Food Safety Certification or National Restaurant Association Certification (NRA)
