Overview

Position Overview:

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a pharmacy manager responsible to the Treasure Valley Medication Management Clinics.  This role is responsible for overseeing the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in the Treasure Valley and the development of growth of new services across the system in the Medication Management Clinics.  Current services include anticoagulation and GLP1 management, but we are looking to expand clinic disease states and services. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a growing team of clinical pharmacists as they expand beyond warfarin management into broader medication management services.
  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians in advanced roles, including protocol-based patient care for warfarin and service expansion initiatives.
  • Champion top-of-license practice for pharmacists and technicians through role clarity, training, and workflow optimization.
  • Manage daily operations across five Treasure Valley clinic locations, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards, safety protocols, and practice compliance.
  • Strengthen collaboration and coordination between Treasure Valley and Magic Valley medication management programs to ensure cohesive, system-level practice.
  • Provide operational and strategic support for the Lifestyle Medicine clinic in partnership with cardiology pharmacy services.
  • Lead the implementation and daily operations of PharmaFit, a multidisciplinary GLP1-based weight management program.
  • Support student and resident precepting, fostering an educational environment within medication management practices.
  • Collaborate with the Ambulatory Care Director to expand and track pharmacotherapy services that contribute to 340B eligibility and capture.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on departmental key performance indicators to drive outcomes and inform strategy.
  • Partner with the Magic Valley manager to implement standardized workflows and continuous process improvement initiatives across the system.
  • Maintain a clinical presence by providing direct patient care 1–2 days per week, with a focus on GLP1 medication management and anticoagulation services.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD
  • Idaho Pharmacist License
  • BLS

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of pharmacy experience without previous leadership or management experience
  • 5 years of pharmacy experience with previous leadership or management experience
  • Completion of PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency or equivalent ambulatory clinic experience
