Overview:

St. Luke’s Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (COSM) is hiring a Part-Time Community/Retail Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho. 

This is a great opportunity for new graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in a supportive, multidisciplinary clinic environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about patient care.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver discharge medications and counseling through our Meds-to-Beds program.

  • Dispense prescriptions, perform medication reviews, and provide immunization services.

  • Educate patients on proper medication use, side effects, and adherence strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and pharmacy technicians.

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy externs.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation standards.

  • Travel as needed to St. Luke’s pharmacy locations in Fruitland and Twin Falls.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program (PharmD or equivalent).

  • Experience: 0 years required — open to recent graduates.

  • Licenses/Certifications:

    • Valid Idaho Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain).

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from one of the following:

      • American Heart Association (AHA)

      • American Red Cross

      • American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Immunization certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

  • Interest or experience in Meds-to-Beds, sports medicine, or orthopedic pharmacy.
