Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are hiring for a Full-Time (0.9 FTE) RN in the Meridian Infusion Center!

 

What You Can Expect:

The RN will deliver direct patient care to a patient population with chronic illness, mostly auto immune. The Infusion Center infuses non-oncology medications and also injections. 

 

The primary job of an Infusion Nurse is to administer various types of IV therapies based on orders from Physicians and other medical professionals. IV Nurses offer comfort to patients as they deliver medications intravenously. Specific duties and responsibilities to consider for an IV Therapy Nurse job description include:

    • Assessing patients before IV treatments
    • Administering medications, vitamins and other fluids through IV lines, ports and central lines
    • Collecting samples and reviewing lab results
    • Monitoring patients throughout infusions to identify issues early
    • Responding to side effects or reactions to treatment

Role may require travel to other centers in Boise or Nampa.


Shift: 10-hour Day shifts M-F with rotating weekends (Saturday & Sunday, every 2 months)

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 1 years' experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IV Skills
  • Knowledgeable in central lines (PICC/PORTs/CVC)
