St. Luke’s is looking for a Clean Core Tech to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care.
The Clean Core Tech is responsible for maintaining and facilitating the function of the clean core. Responsibilities case cart preparation with the finalization in the core for scheduled/add-on/emergent cases for current and next day schedule, maintain, troubleshoot, and assume responsibility to ensure that instrumentation and supplies are available as needed for cases. Other duties also include following procedures for correct sterilizing, monitoring, and recording of each load, completing required autoclave/steris biological testing according to policy and procedures, maintaining supplies, instruments, and medication in core and sub-sterile mini-cores including adequate par levels, ordering and rotation of supplies and instruments and maintenance of temperature loop and cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, autoclaves, and warmers per policy.
