Unit Overview

 

As a NICU Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Meridian, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our most vulnerable patients—newborns requiring intensive medical attention. We're proud to be a Six-Time Magnet Designated Recipient for nursing excellence!

 

You'll provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature infants in a 13-bed Level IIB NICU setting, collaborating with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

 

What you can expect from this role

  • Part-time night shift schedule (2x12s week 7p-7a) with shift differential pay
  • Additional PTO hours for night shift employees
  • Certification pay for national certifications (e.g., RNC-NIC, RNC-MNN)
  • Continued education/certification opportunities
  • Adhere to AWHONN standard staffing ratios (1:2-3)
  • Sign-on bonus eligible new hires

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience:  1+ years of RN experience preferably in NICU
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red
