We are searching for a Lactation Consultant to join our team at the cutting-edge Nampa Family Birth Center in our Mother Baby unit!

 

The Lactation Consultant provides expert guidance, education, and support to breastfeeding mothers and families. They assess and address lactation challenges, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to promote successful breastfeeding experiences. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, compassionate communication, and a commitment to maternal and infant health.

 

 

What You Can Expect:

  • Part Time Days 0.75 FTE | 30 hours/week
  • Sign-on bonus for eligible new hires
  • 14 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) suites, including 7 paired with NICU
  • 8 private NICU suites
  • An average of 115 deliveries per month

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 2 year's clinical experience as an RN or Patient Educator
  • Licenses/Certifications: 
    • Current RN License from the State of Practice
    • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBLCE)
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
