What You Can Expect in This Role

• Room patients, take vitals, and document medical histories accurately in the EMR
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with in-office procedures
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as ordered
• Perform basic in-office testing such as EKGs and point-of-care labs
• Maintain accurate health records and assist with telehealth coordination and follow-up
• Full time, flexible scheduling options, including:
• 4, 9-hour shifts/week
• 3, 12-hour shifts/week

Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant
• NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, NHA
