Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Registered Nurse for Breast Care Services!

 

What You Can Expect:

 

The BCS RN is an emotional support and comfort to patients in difficult times and helps calm their fears. Day to Day duties consist of:

  • Coordinate pre-procedure calls, prepare patient charts, and relay key information to the Breast Care Services team.
  • Review pathology reports and forward relevant details to the Radiologist.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients during breast imaging procedures.
  • Teach and follow up with patients on discharge instructions after procedures.
  • Assist with biopsies, aspirations, and pre-surgery procedures using ultrasound, mammogram, and MRI.
  • Help with opening devices, patient positioning, bandaging biopsy sites, and educating patients on post-procedure breast care.
  • Other RN duties as assigned

Schedule: 3 variable shifts per week, Monday - Friday. Variable Day Shift Hours between 7:30a-5p.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 1 years' experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
