Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are seeking a Flex SANE RN to join our Community SAFE team.

 

As a SAFE nurse you will be involved in collecting forensic evidence from victims who report that they have been sexually assaulted or involved in an interpersonal violence incident. Each nurse is highly skilled in forensics and performs physical examinations, forensic evidence collection, crisis intervention, provide prophylaxis medications, and refers the patient for necessary follow-up care.  Our forensic nurse examiners care for victims of all gender, race, and cultural backgrounds. Victims with special disabilities are cared for with attention to their special needs.

 

Schedule: On Call, Requiring at least five 12-hour on-call shifts per month and at least 1 weekend call every other month.
