The Director of Building Services will lead the planning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the physical environment of the Boise Medical Center, St. Luke's largest campus with newly constructed facilities, utility plant, the planned addition of a new hospital tower currently under construction. This key leader will ensure that our hospital facilities remain safe, efficient, compliant, and ready to support exceptional patient care 24/7.

 

What You Can Expect:

  • Lead the Building Services department, overseeing facility maintenance, plant operations, utilities, and infrastructure systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and accreditation standards (The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Partner closely with clinical, safety, and administrative leaders to maintain an environment of care that supports patient healing and staff safety.
  • Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and facility reliability.
  • Manage capital planning, budgets, and vendor relationships for building systems, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Drive energy management and sustainability initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
  • Develop and mentor a skilled, service-oriented facilities team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of.
  • 10 years of relevant experience (building services).
