Wage: $17.17 – $18.95/hour, based on experience
What You Can Expect in This Role:
Create Fun, Meaningful Experiences: Assist staff in planning and leading engaging individual and group activities tailored to each child’s age and needs.
Build Connections: Develop supportive relationships with patients and families to help children feel safe, understood, and cared for.
Observe and Communicate: Monitor children’s responses to play and activities, sharing important observations with the care team.
Support a Safe Play Environment: Help ensure all play areas are safe, age-appropriate, and welcoming for children of all abilities.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
No prior experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children in any setting (volunteer, babysitting, daycare, camp, school programs, etc.)
A passion for supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
Certifications:
None required
