Position Overview:

As a hospice Massage Therapist you'll provide massage therapy for terminally ill patients. This role requires a compassionate professional who can work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep passion for caring for end-of-life patients.

 

 What You Can Expect as Massage Therapist with Hospice:

 

  • Provide massage therapy to hospice patients in Skilled Nursing facilities, Memory Care facilities, Assisted Living facilities, and in-home.
  • Provide comfort and stress reduction to patients with chronic pain.
  • Support a geographic area that includes the Treasure Valley, Mountain Home, Idaho City and Garden Valley.
  • Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:30AM-5PM.
  • Mileage reimbursement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Massage Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Oncology experience
    • Hospice experience
