Overview

At St. Luke’s, we are proud to support the next generation of healthcare providers through innovative and realistic training. We are seeking a Simulation Technician to join our team and help students develop exceptional clinical skills. In this role, you will manage and operate advanced simulation technology, creating lifelike patient scenarios that prepare students for real-world patient care.

 

Schedule: Variable, ~28 hours/week
Hourly rate: $27–$31, depending on experience

 

What You Can Expect

 

  • Operate and control high-fidelity, software-driven manikins during simulations.

  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment and software.

  • Serve as the “voice of the patient” to make scenarios realistic and engaging.

  • Coordinate and schedule simulation sessions, including preparation of all equipment.

  • Order, track, and maintain simulation supplies.

  • Collaborate with instructors and other team members to ensure smooth, effective training experiences.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical, healthcare, or IT-related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience with technology, equipment management, or IT troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with simulation software or other high-tech equipment.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical scenarios.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, educational environment.
