Overview

At St. Luke’s, our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) are an essential part of our care team—providing compassionate, patient-centered support while helping ensure a smooth and welcoming clinic experience. Join our close-knit Fruitland team, where you’ll have the opportunity to care for patients who have been part of our community for many years.

As a CMA supporting our Pulmonary and Sleep providers, you’ll enjoy the rewarding pace of a smaller rural clinic, balancing hands-on patient care with important medical clerical tasks. This environment allows for autonomy, teamwork, and strong, long-term connections with patients and colleagues alike.

Part-time | 28 hours per week | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

 

What You Can Expect:
• Rooming patients and assisting with in-basket and follow-up work
• Completing prior authorizations and supporting clinical documentation
• Collaborating closely with providers while maintaining independence and self-direction
• Delivering care with warmth and professionalism in a welcoming community setting
• Building lasting relationships with patients and families
• Flexing to the Nampa clinic as needed

 

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program

Experience

No exprience required

 

Prefered Exprience
1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, preferably in a rural clinic setting

 

Certifications
• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
