Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team at the Nampa Cancer Institute strives to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional care to our community. We’re currently seeking a passionate and experienced team member to join our Nampa Cancer Institute.

What you can expect from this role

  • 0.9 FTE (72 hours/pay period)

    • Week 1 – Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

    • Week 2 – Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

  • Support day-to-day operations within the Nampa Cancer Institute and assist in maintaining smooth clinical workflows.

  • Perform routine Medical Assistant duties including patient rooming, vitals, documentation, and assisting providers with procedures.

  • Serve as Lead Preceptor, providing onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing education for MAs and CNAs.

  • Support accreditation and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with cancer care standards.

  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth across the clinical support staff.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with clinic leaders to drive cancer care excellence and operational goals.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 

  • 2 years of CMA experience

Certifications

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
