New team members will gain experience with a complete range of medical and surgical patients. Our patient population includes pre and post operative patients and general medical patients. Staff are very collaborative and energetic and believe in teamwork to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Our specialty is to be ready to care for anything. We use a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that is patient centered and encourages teamwork between nursing staff, physicians, therapy teams, social work, care coordination, and pharmacists.

What you can expect from this role

•  Full-time or Part-time positions available on NIGHTS for Meridian Med Surg 6
  
  • Shift time is generally 1900 - 0700
• Shift differential pay offered for Nights and Weekends
• Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education 
• Typical CNA-to-patient ratio 1:8

Qualifications: CNA 

Licenses/Certifications: 

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice 

Licenses/Certifications: 

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)
• Experience: 0 years experience
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing . The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
