Schedule:  1.0 FTE Exempt leadership position.

 

What You Can Expect:

 

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for PreOp plays a key leadership role in supporting the Nurse Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients preparing for surgery. This position is responsible for supervising ~55 clinical staff, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The ANM fosters a positive work environment, promotes evidence-based practices, and assists with staff development, scheduling, and performance management.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required 
  • Licensure:
    • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License required and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years nursing experience in surgical services-PreOp preferred.
    • Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in electronic health records and scheduling systems.
