Position Overview

The St. Luke’s Elmore Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for managing, developing and engaging staff within the Preoperative, Intraoperative and Postoperative unit, ensuring best practices are followed with adherence to established policies and procedures. The ANM will also assist with floor coverage as needed.

 

St. Luke’s Elmore Medical Center is located in Mountain Home, Idaho, a thriving, close-knit community with numerous outdoor activities close by. Currently, we have 2 operating rooms, focusing on Endoscopy, General and OB/GYN surgeries. Our team is small, but it is mighty! Looking for a leader who will strive for team excellence and encourage a Just Culture with a willingness to go the extra mile and help support the needs of a Critical Access Hospital.

 

What you can expect from this role

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts 
  • Patient Population: Adolescent to Elderly
  • Unit Capacity: 2 beds
  • Bonuses: Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available (where applicable)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • Experience: 3 years nursing experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License required and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
