Overview

At St. Luke’s, we pride ourselves on fostering a workplace culture that values diversity, promotes collaboration, and prioritizes employee well-being. Our commitment to excellence in patient care extends to creating an environment where our team can thrive both personally and professionally. With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department and works under the CSU Manager in collaboration with the Enterprise Resource and Staffing Office. Key responsibilities include recruitment, managing staff timecards, monitoring performance, supporting professional development, and ensuring compliance with educational and accreditation requirements.

The ANM role is highly engaged with staff in the Clinical Support Unit (CSU)—our internal float pool. The CSU team consists of RNs, CNAs, and Mental Health Technicians who provide support across all Emergency Departments and inpatient units within St. Luke’s Treasure Valley hospitals, primarily serving the Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Elmore sites. Additionally, we offer specialized programs that extend support to our Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs).

CSU is a dynamic, growing department that delivers a high-quality, specialized float experience to the patients and departments we serve. We are a collaborative and diverse team that welcomes applicants from all nursing backgrounds. There are numerous opportunities for growth—whether through learning about different service lines, supporting various locations, participating in new SLHS initiatives, or contributing to performance improvement projects.
