Overview

At St. Luke’s, our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) are an essential part of our care team—providing compassionate, patient-centered support while helping ensure a smooth and welcoming clinic experience.

Join our Mountain Home Urgent Care team, where you’ll support a high-volume, fast-paced clinic serving our community seven days a week from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.

 

In this role, you will work alongside a variety of providers and collaborate with a team that includes three Medical Assistants and an RN using a team-care model. Patient volumes can be up to 100 per day, offering a dynamic environment where strong communication, flexibility, and self-direction are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys variety, and thrives in a supportive, high-performing environment.

 

What You Can Expect:
• Rooming patients, supporting in-basket work, and facilitating timely follow-up
• Assisting with clinical documentation and supporting provider workflows
• Supporting a busy urgent care environment with diverse patient needs

 

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program

Experience
• 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant; urgent care or high-volume clinic experience preferred

Certifications
• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current recognized national Medical Assistant certification from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
