Overview

St. Luke’s Breast Care Services is evolving our scheduling model to better support both clinical accuracy and patient experience. This role shifts work that has become increasingly clinical from centralized scheduling to a dedicated Medical Assistant, providing critical administrative and clinical coordination across our breast care programs in McCall and Magic Valley.

This position plays a key role in ensuring orders are accurate, patients are scheduled appropriately, and breast care protocols are applied consistently across the system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and excels in customer service while working in a clinically adjacent, administrative-focused role.

Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What to expect:
• Transcribing and validating provider orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Calling patients to schedule breast care services for McCall and Magic Valley
• Providing high-touch customer service and patient education throughout the scheduling process
• Supporting the transition to a standardized “super order” and assisting with system-wide implementation
• Reviewing radiology recommendation reports and determining appropriate next steps based on established breast care protocols
• Partnering closely with clinical teams, radiology, and scheduling to ensure consistent workflows
• Ensuring compliance with breast care guidelines, protocols, and documentation standards

This role is well suited for a Medical Assistant who enjoys administrative work, understands clinical workflows, and takes pride in precision, communication, and patient-centered service.
