The Accreditation Specialist supports organizational excellence by coordinating and managing accreditation, regulatory, and licensure activities across the organization. This role serves as a subject-matter expert on accreditation standards, ensures continuous survey readiness, and partners with clinical and operational leaders to maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements.
Coordinate accreditation and regulatory activities for applicable accrediting bodies (e.g., The Joint Commission, DNV, CMS, AAAHC, state agencies).
Serve as the primary resource for accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and interpretive guidance.
Lead ongoing survey readiness efforts, including tracers, mock surveys, and compliance audits.
Manage preparation, coordination, and execution of accreditation and regulatory surveys, including document submission and on-site/virtual survey support.
Track standards compliance, findings, and corrective action plans; monitor progress to closure.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and leadership teams to implement and sustain compliance improvements.
