St. Luke’s Health System is looking for a flexible, team oriented Nursing Supervisor to join our Boise Surgical Services team and supervise our Neuro team. The Boise OR is a very busy, fast paced operating room with 17 ORs. We do a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, General, and a lot of Pediatrics. We have over 200 surgeons that utilize our OR and are looking for positive, high energy staff.
The Nursing Supervisor, is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The Nursing Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff; will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff; and works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met. The Nursing Supervisor assists with coordination of the schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels and assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments.
