St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Health Unit Coordinator to join our team! 

Health Unit Coordinator

Under limited supervision, the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is responsible for providing non-clinical support and service to physicians, nursing staff, patients, and visitors. Responsibilities include assisting healthcare staff with clerical duties, preparing, compiling and maintaining patient and operational records, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, and transcribing and ensuring that physicians orders are processed and patient follow up needs are met.

 

Required Criteria  

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  •  2 years’ general experience in the functional area or related experience
