Programmer Analyst

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a multi-talented Programmer Analyst . The Programmer Analyst will need significant modern web development experience paired with hands-on experience with Office 365, in particular SharePoint Online. The duties of this position include web application development, SharePoint workflow creation, SharePoint configuration and maintenance, and programmatically extending and supporting our Sitecore CMS implementation. The key to success in this role is a hunger to learn new technologies paired with a strong foundation of web development experience.  


Job Responsibilities

  • Work with IT management and business teams to translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Create workflows to improve process efficiency; guide business teams on best practices.
  • Develop custom web applications both inside and outside of SharePoint Online.
  • Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and charts.
  • Help define and refine release management processes in accordance with industry standards.
  • Respond to Service Desk ticket escalations in regard to the portfolio of applications supported by the Web Services team.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as well as assist with training and related materials as needed.
  • Evaluate and adopt new SharePoint Online / Office 365 technologies as they become available.


Required Criteria

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems or related field or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years professional experience as a web developer.
  • Experience with Office 365 / SharePoint Online.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Experience with most of the following: C#, PowerShell, Source Control, IIS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, Node.js, ReactJS.
  • Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology.
