    St. Luke's is looking for a Critical Care Paramedic to join us in our strategy to be the community's trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient-centered care!                                               

    Paramedic – Critical Care

    The Critical Care Paramedic functions as a member of the transport team and is responsible for identifying patient needs, establishing priorities and providing appropriate interventions. Practice is in a specialty critical care inter-hospital environment with limited clinical resources and under extreme and unpredictable transport conditions.  Must be able to rapidly recognize and assess acute changes in patient conditions, responding with appropriate interventions as a member of an independent team using standing written orders or with the guidance of online medical control. Through documented and verbal communication, essential information is shared with team members, physicians, and staff from referring hospitals, emergency personnel and other customers.


    Required Criteria 

    • Fixed wing and ground only
    • Boise Locally Based
    • HS Diploma or equivalent
    • Certification in ACLS
    • Certificaiton in PALS
    • Certification in NRP, PHTLS or TPATC
    • CPR Required
    • Driver's License Required 
    • Current and continuous certification as EMT-Paramedic in the State of Idaho. (Must obtain Idaho License before start date).
    • 3 years (4000 hours) field experience as an EMT-P
    • Authorized to practice with Air St. Luke’s by the Air St. Luke’s Medical Director.
