    St. Luke's Health System is looking for a qualified Clinical Research Manager to join our MSTI Research team!


    The Clinic Research Manager is responsible for the oversight of all research clinical site operations and personnel.


    Essential Job Functions

    • Develops, implements and maintains system-wide procedures for clinical research in collaboration with principal investigators

    • Oversees work of Clinical Research staff ensuring timely and accurate completion of duties

    • Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical research training, education and orientation program

    • Serves as clinical resource for institutional leadership and investigators related to the ethical conduct of human subjects clinical research

    • Ensures the availability of trained research personnel essential in meeting staffing and other resource needs

    • Directs internal audits and leads response to site visits from external organizations

    • Develops and manages departmental budget

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned



    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree

    Preferred Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in leadership, supervisory and/or project management roles required, with supervision and/or leading and monitoring employees
    • Must possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills as evidenced by proficiency in both oral and written comprehension and expression
    • Research certification (CCRC, CCRP, ACRP or Research Administrator)
    • Ability to facilitate highly functional team(s) toward successful achievement of outcomes within strict timeframes
    • Must possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills as evidenced by proficiency in both oral and written comprehension and expression
    • Ability and willingness to manage a chaotic work environment related to the rapidly changing industry and the needs of individuals served
    • Experience in Research/Healthcare related field
