    St. Luke’s Health Partners (SLHP) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid/Senior level Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Boise, Idaho!

     

    The Mid/Senior level Business Intelligence Developer will have an amazing opportunity to be part of a new team that is directly responsible for implementing and optimizing a healthcare intelligence platform that will help St. Luke’s Health Partners improve health outcomes and lower the total cost of care. This role will be intimately involved with the design, development, and deployment of applications that support data capture and/or delivery of best practices throughout the St. Luke’s Health Partners (SLHP) network. This includes working with key stakeholders and decision makers to understand their business and clinical requirements, identifying the appropriate ETL process, and developing the required data and analytics infrastructure.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and test ETL, data warehousing, and analytics solutions.
    • Work closely with architects/leads, developers, and leadership to define information needs, data flows and data quality considerations to enable solution deployment.
    • Heavily involved in the acquisition and load of disparate data sources, source to target metadata mapping, and working closely with vendors or external partners throughout the process.
    • Utilize data quality techniques for data validation, unit test and automated integration testing.
    • Candidate should be able to learn new software tools quickly and apply SQL coding techniques to build and load databases.
    • Test new software products/updates and work with development team to improve usability and recommend improvements.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which often presents new requirements and priorities.
    • Experience with functional or object-oriented programming.
    • Independent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
    • Ability to build / troubleshoot / maintain an automated Dev Ops pipeline  

     

    Minimum Requirements include: 

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 4 years’ of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Four years’ experience developing applications to support enterprise-level business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (experienced with the MS 2008 R2 suite).
    • Experience with population health or care management solutions desirable.
    • 5+ years of experience in Object Orientated software development preferred.

    • Proficiency in C# programming language preferred
