    St. Luke’s Magic Valley is currently accepting applications for a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Twin Falls, Idaho. The Biomedical Equipment Technician 1, under supervision, serve as an entry-level clinical equipment support technician to provide inventory control, minor repairs, and maintenance of medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems.

     

    Required Criteria 

    •  Education: Associates’ degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, OR Department of Defense (DOD) Certification.
    • Experience: None
    •               2 years preferred
    • Licenses/Certifications: None

     

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

     

    ·         Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment.

     

    ·         Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.

     

    ·         Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
