    St. Luke's is a nationally recognized leading healthcare organization where people like you drive our success. We are currently searching for more Antepartum RN's to join our team! The Boise Antepartum unit helps care for pregnant women and their families who are experiencing complications while pregnant. This is the place where patients know they are the center of the healthcare team, and long term care relationships are developed and nurtured.


    Our small unit of dedicated nurses work in partnership with our Maternal Fetal Medicine doctors as well with our Family Practice Residency physicians. Together we work to provide state of the art medical management and expertise in high risk assessment and care. Because of these relationships, those who have stayed on Antepartum through pregnancy often request to return after delivery for their Postpartum care. Our nurses accommodate these requests as often as possible because of the vested bond they also feel toward these patients they have cared for. Families and friends are welcome and encouraged to visit and support these patients. Baby showers often occur in the spacious Family Lounge. Antepartum is the place for creativity in care provided to meet patient needs including art, massage, yoga, and relaxation therapy.


    6 LDRs, 3 ORs, 2 Recovery, 10 Triage, and a separate 13 bed Antepartum Unit combine to create the Labor and Delivery department at Boise St. Luke's.


    Registered Nurse – Antepartum

    The registered nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.


    Required Criteria 



    • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
    • Nursing Degree, BSN preferred
    • NRP within 6 months of hire
    • S.T.A.B.L.E  within 6 months of hire

    Preferred Criteria

    • At least 1 year RN experience
    • Antepartum experience
    • Positive attitude, excellent communication and critical thinking skills, patient and family centered clinical approach.
