    TEMPORARY - 1YR But can lead to long-term employement with St. Luke's Health System.


    St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a part time HIM Tech to join our team. This position will work approximately 56 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks).


    The HIM Tech is responsible for verifying, importing, prepping and scanning of the patient health record into the electronic medical record. This position ensures that an accurate and timely patient health record is maintained in a highly ethical and confidential manner, and requires someone to be detail-oriented and professional.


    Required Criteria

    Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
    Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience.


    Preferred Criteria

    Document Scanning experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with accurate skills in fundamental medical office procedures such as typing, computer software, telephone, scanners and copy/fax machines.

    Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality principles.
