    Patient Access Specialist- Connect

     St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Connect Specialist to join our team!


    The St. Luke’s Connect Specialist is the first point of contact for many customers, including patients, consumers and providers.  Our Connect Specialists are responsible for accurately scheduling and preregistering patient encounters utilizing excellent customer services standards within multiple applications.


    SL Connect is made up of different aspects related to patient care, including outpatient diagnostic scheduling, surgery scheduling, rehab scheduling, referral management, specialty services scheduling, insurance-based authorizations, and other various functions that assist the community. We have both day and evening shifts, which vary in each area.


    Required Criteria 


    • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years of higher education, or equivalent 2 years work experience in healthcare or a professional office setting.
    • Demonstrated basic medical terminology knowledge and/or customer service skill set gained through education/work experience.
