St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their growing, hospital-based, Inpatient Neurosciences team. The Inpatient Neuroscience Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic condition. The NP works under the supervision of a designated physician, and in collaboration with a team of other providers and staff. This position specifically focuses on the care and health management primarily in the following subsets of inpatient neuroscience conditions: pre- and post-operative spine (non-traumatic), pre-, post-, and non-operative intracranial, and post-intervention stroke patients. Care will be coordinated on the inpatient neuroscience unit as well as the intensive care unit (ICU) and surgical intensive care unit (SICU). The Inpatient Neuroscience Nurse Practitioner position is a key member in communicating, problem-solving and planning between nursing, physician, therapy, case management and the patient.
