    Systems Analyst – Disaster Recovery:

    St. Luke’s Integrated Health Technologies (IHT) is seeking an experienced IT professional that will fulfill a key role in the development, maintenance, and continuous process improvement of our Disaster Recovery (DR) Program. Partnering with clinical workgroups, business stakeholders, and IHT service teams, the candidate will seek to expand and improve downtime functionality through Epic Business Continuity Access (BCA) and other technologies and processes. They will guide the development of critical system redundancy and recovery plans, ensuring that responses to threats and disasters are coordinated and will meet the business and regulatory needs of the organization.

     

    Systems Analyst – Disaster Recovery Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes system design, redundancy, and connectivity for critical applications and infrastructure with IHT service teams, including server, network, interface, and storage components. Works with service teams to develop, document, and test High Availability (HA) and DR solutions that meet or exceed business and regulatory requirements.
    • Development and administration of the Business Continuity Management Tool to ensure that DR plans, critical system status, and standardized HA and DR strategies are current, documented, and highly available.
    • Evaluates evolving business requirements to enhance and refine downtime capabilities for patient care and critical business operations and ensures continual state of readiness of the Business Continuity Access (BCA) technology in Epic.
    • Facilitates IHT's response and recovery activities in the face of an actual disaster.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Epic BCA experience a plus.
    • Epic technical certifications and experience a plus.
    • Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery certifications a plus.
    • Technical understanding of network, storage, and server technologies a plus.

     

    Required Criteria:

    • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
