We are currently searching for a part-time Inpatient Rehab Certified Nursing Assistant to add to our team. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas.
Our Boise Inpatient Rehab units patient population is Neuro and Ortho Rehab patients that range in age from 14 to 100+ years old. The Inpatient Rehab Hospital consists of two separate “sister” units, and staff float back and forth between them regularly. Due to the nature of Rehab, the care here is highly coordinated interdisciplinary care. Patients require daily Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and/or Recreational Therapy along with significant medical oversight to reach their discharge goals. The emphasis is on a return to functionality and promoting the highest level of self sufficiency reasonably forseeable for patients who often start off significantly compromised due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological insults.
