We are seeking an Oncology Nurse to join our team!
St. Luke’s nurses are among the very best in the United States. Our Boise and Meridian hospitals, St. Luke’s MSTI cancer centers, and Treasure Valley clinics are designated Magnet facilities — the gold standard for nursing excellence. At Magnet facilities, low nurse-to-patient ratios are the rule, which helps ensure that nurses have adequate time to give all patients the special care they deserve. This means our patients and their families receive award-winning care that is compassionate, patient-centered, and always reaching for a higher standard.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs. The MSTI clinics are dynamic full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment center offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. The St. Luke’s MSTI RN is the keystone to the complex, high-quality, compassionate care the communities of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon have come to expect of our organization. The Clinical Oncology RN will assist with patient teaching, procedures, review provider schedule to assure adequate time allotted per patient, review new patient information prior to first clinic visits as well as other requested tasks from the provider.
Our employees enjoy many benefits, some of the most popular are tuition reimbursement, hospital retirement contributions, and hospital-supported on-going training and education.
A strong, talented staff is at the heart of St. Luke’s Health System. We are the state’s largest employer with more than 13,500 employees and a medical staff of more than 1,800 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Our employees are dedicated to impacting the lives of those in our community while pursuing a life- changing career at St. Luke’s.
