  • Overview

    St. Luke’s is looking for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - Flex to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care in Nampa, ID. This shift is evenings (5pm-10pm) and Saturday's. 

     

    Job Functions:

    • Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed in order to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
    • Educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
    • Research and document patients’ medical history to assure that the patient is safe to be in the MRI environment. Verify completeness and accuracy of MRI patient screening questionnaire.
    • Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Ensure proper patient positioning, coil selection and coil positioning. Consult provider as needed.

    Required Criteria:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
    • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification.
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
