Attention Magic Valley Job seekers!  St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our team!

 

*** Rare opportunity be on a special project to help with Covid19 test scheduling in the Magic Valley, Twin Falls, Jerome and Buhl areas!  Travel to those areas and meet our medical teams that are dedicated to helping their local communities.  This would start initially as a floating position with future placement into one of our amazing clinics.

 

Full time with benefits!  Needs to be open to a variable schedule with rotating days off.

 

The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for responding to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, scheduling, referral coordination, and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Supports an exceptional experience through all customer interactions, ensuring professional, timely and accurate communication- both verbally and in writing.
  • Supports a perspective payment program by communicating organization policies, financial options, explaining insurance coverage/non-coverage.
  • Utilize a variety of technology, tools, and resources to support departmental workflows.
  • Performs one of the following workflows with attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency:
  • - Call front lining
  • - Patient Registration
  • - Scheduling

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
