Overview

We are looking for a 1st Assist Registered Nurse to add to our surgical team.

 

St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurse 1st Assist to join our team!

Under direct supervision of a surgeon, the First Assist RN provides assistance to the surgical team during the intraoperative phase of surgical care.

 

Required Criteria  

  • Degree in Nursing. RN’s with less than 1 year of RN experience at the time of hire into the position must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN-Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE-Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education, CNEA-Commission of Nursing Education Accreditation)
  • 0 years’ experience
  • current RN Licensure in the State of Practice
  • Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) Certification 

Preferred Criteria

  • 2+ years of experience as a 1st Assist preferred
