We are currently searching for more Labor & Delivery RN's to join our team! The Boise Labor and Delivery Unit is a tight knit team that delivers around 350 babies per month. Nurses care for families through an exciting, life changing experience. Our labor nurses are skilled in the high tech aspects of birthing as well as high touch. Training is provided in therapeutic touch, natural birth support, breathing techniques, water therapy, and supporting women's rituals around birth to help them become the most skillful and supportive nurses possible for every unique birthing experience. 16 LDRs, 3 ORs, 2 Recovery, 10 Triage, and a separate 13 bed Antepartum Unit combine to create the Labor and Delivery department at Boise St. Luke's.

 

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

The registered nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.

 

Required Criteria 

 

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • Associates Degree of Nursing
  • NRP within 6 months of hire
  • S.T.A.B.L.E  within 6 months of hire

Preferred Criteria

  • At least 1 year RN experience
  • L & D experience
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication and critical thinking skills, patient and family centered clinical approach.
