Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field.
  • Licenses/Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification and hold a License in the State of Practice in one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

A qualified candidate will have experience working with a varied age range of pediatric patients and their perspective families and caregivers. The candidate will be well versed in evidence-based practice and modalities for pediatric mental diagnoses. Expect interdisciplinary team approach and opportunities to collaborate with entire care team which may include psychiatrist, primary or specialty care physicians.  Candidate to be proficient in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, crisis management, family and parenting support and documentation compliance.  Skills in time management, organization, and multi-tasking are important.
