Our Oncology Pharmacy department is establishing a NEW, dedicated Precision Medicine Program (PMP). This is a great opportunity to advance 

 

What You Can Expect

  • Work with a broad, cross-functional team of providers, genetic counselors, nurse navigators, IHT, pathology, cardiothoracic surgery, and other medical professionals along with the director of oncology pharmacy to develop a pharmacist-led PMP
  • Develop relationships with testing vendors
    • Identify and evaluate labs for testing, collaborating to test, streamline testing processes, and ensure appropriate testing
  • Collaborate with IHT to integrate Epic Aura with existing systems
  • Consult, make recommendations and serve as a resource for the Tumor Board
  • Provide clinical education and work to establish/improve patient education on tests and results

 

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
  • Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
  • Certification in Pharmacogenomics is preferred
