What you can expect from this role

• Part of a care team providing crisis management, comprehensive assessments, psychotherapy, and resource information for pediatric, adult, and senior populations
• M-F 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and anticipate opening for weekend availability (Sa-Su 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
• In house continuing education, 3 Paid Education Days annually and Education Funding ($1000 annually)
• Salaried position

What We Offer

St. Luke’s Health System in Nampa is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our South Nampa Community Clinic team. The South Nampa Clinic will use consumer insights to shape the care environment; therefore, a flexible mindset to adapt to consumer needs and preferences is required. A qualified candidate will be well versed in evidence-based practices, have strong time management and documentation skills, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and the ability to collaborate with a variety of partners.  Examples of issues that the therapist may assist with: depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress management, substance use, grief, suicidal ideation, recent psychiatric hospitalization, chronic pain/illness, difficulty coping with medical illness or new diagnosis, treatment adherence, uncontrolled medical issues, obesity, unexplained symptoms, etc.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree
• Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross and hold a License in Idaho in one of the following:Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
