Overview

St. Luke’s Children’s Neuro- and Behavioral Psychology is seeking a full-time, mid-career psychologist or neuropsychologist with expertise in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders to join our growing team. 

 

Position Overview

The psychologist will provide comprehensive outpatient evaluations for toddlers, children, and adolescents presenting with a broad range of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions.  Primary referral sources include Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, Child Psychiatry, and Primary Care, ensuring a diverse and rewarding clinical caseload.  There are opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and to develop specialty evaluation services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evidence-based psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations
  • Provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations for children and adolescents with suspected ASD, ADHD, intellectual disability, and comorbid psychiatric concerns
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines, including Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, Child Psychiatry, Speech-Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy
  • Assist with developing specialty evaluation services tailored to specific patient populations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and team case conferences

 

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical, counseling, or school psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program
  • Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship.
  • Extensive experience and/or post-doctoral training in neurodevelopmental assessment
  • Expertise in assessment of autism and neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Idaho
