Overview

Boise Telemetry includes both Telemetry Units, 3 Tele and 7 East. 3 Tele, a Cardiac Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with primary cardiac diagnosis and procedures. 7 East, a Medical Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with acute and chronic complex medical diagnosis including procedural overflow.

 

The Boise Telemetry Units contribute to the mission and vision of the medical center by providing highly skilled acute nursing care to our community. Our nursing staff value teamwork, excellence in their work, and caring for their patients. Nursing on 7 East and on 3 Tele requires a strong work ethic, resilience, and strong critical thinking skills. We enjoy supporting and mentoring nurses in all stages of their career.

What you can expect from this role

  • Day/night shift opportunities

  • 12-hour shifts (self-scheduling model)
  • Shift differentials offered
  • Certification pay (ex. PCCN, CVRN/CMSRN)
  • You will see a little bit of everything, our unit is a great place for nurses to gain knowledge and master skills
    • 3 Tele; 20-bed unit: Pacemakers & ICDs, OHS / MVR / TAVR, STEMI (STENTS), Cardiothoracic Surgeries, TAVR, A-FIB Ablations, WATCHMANS, and VATS
    • 7 East: 35-bed unit; CHF, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, CVA, Electrolyte Imbalances, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Hypoxia, Rhabdo, Cath Lab, and EP Lab overflow

Minimum qualifications for this role

  • Education: Nursing Degree
  • Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
