Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Director Community Engagement 2 to join our Community Health and Engagement Department.

 

 

Responsible for the development and implementation of the organization's community strategy and plans, coordination and collaboration with site community relations personnel, and oversight of market-specific initiates for all customer groups. Supports the vision, strategic plans and mission of organization and its affiliates. Typically, responsible for a community of more than 10,000 people within 200-mile radius.

 

  • Directs the utilization of various internal community resources and management of community services including the measurement, trending and reporting of outcomes across service lines and hospital entities.
  • May function as Privacy Officer at a location.
  • Supports and assists the Site Administrators to establish a strong community engagement presence.
  • Responsible for completing, coordinating the development of implementation plans and confirming approval by the board.
  • Cultivates and directs community engagement strategies in support of the organization's strategy.
  • Works with staff to set department goals and develop implementation plans to achieve them.
  • Represents the organization on various community boards and in professional organizations.
  • Directs special projects at the direction of leadership.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience: 10 years relevant experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: None
